New research on Fascia changes the way we look at pain
There is an ongoing global revolution within the anatomical research field, turning the way we view our bodies upside down and setting a new standard for how we conduct research.
Our treatment device uses controlled vibrations as an active and healing part of the therapy. The vibrations stimulate tissue, increase circulation, and are a central component of the therapeutic effect.
This product is designed for professional use and should be used according to the instructions. Hold the device with a firm but relaxed grip, and keep it out of reach of children.
Although our vibration levels are significantly lower than those of industrial tools – approximately 2.5–3 m/s² depending on the measurement method – the product is subject to the same warning label requirements as all vibrating tools. Therefore, we want to provide a clear but nuanced overview of what the vibrations entail.
Table for calculating HAV points – acceleration versus exposure time
Use 3 m/s² as a baseline. Depending on the intensity of the treatment given, the value can be adjusted up or down by 1 m/s².
Note: Actual exposure can only be determined through real measurements using, for example, the HAVS Protect hand sensor. See link below the table.

Atlasbalans treatment tools are optimized for advanced fascia treatment and based on the latest anatomical research.
Hans Bohlin is a successful economist who retrained himself as a therapist and expert in fascia and also became an entrepreneur and innovator when searching for a gentle type of treatment to increase mobility and agility.

The Swedish Fascia Vibes treatment may appear gentle – but during treatment there is a lot that is happening in the body. Learn more about how the machine increases the fluid flow in the tissue and turns of pain receptors.
A research study published in 2019 shows that this type of treatment could be a good solution for patients suffering from Frozen Shoulder.
The idea for Atlasbalans was born in 2009 when Hans Bohlin wanted to create a wellness concept to ensure people long-term health.
