Those who do not work therapeutically or have made the connection might think it sounds unreasonable to see that many people with hypermobility. But that’s just because these people (myself included) had problems and pains in the body since their teens. In books on manual therapy and physical therapy, they tend to be cited as the “impossible” and “hopeless” cases…
A correlation that becomes clear when working with treatments for a long time, is that the most difficult to treat humans and horses are generally hypermobile.
Considering how much it used to hurt I never dreamed of or hoped for this great result! I feel no pain what so ever and I can train full speed. Märta also gave me some useful stretch exercises that I now do every day.
Märta Lindqvist and Atlasbalans joined Rolf Göran Bengtsson to Vienna for Swedish Fascia Vibess of horses and riders during the Global Champions Tour.
I have now been going to Germany treating jumping horses regularly for six months. What started as a test to see if the riders would think that it seemed like something to go in for, has now become a regular element in the treatment of all horses and a “I’ll see you soon” is usual after each visit is finished.
At the beginning of last week I went with Ivar and Hans Bohlin down to Rolf Göran Bengtsson’s riding center in Hamburg. We were going to show how Swedish Fascia Vibes is done on horses. Rolf Göran has already tried the treatment when he was injured a few years ago, but he had not yet seen how it works with the horses.
